Harrah’s Entertainment released a compilation of honors it has received recognizing the company for offering superior advancement opportunities for employees, exemplary gaming-entertainment experiences for its guests and continued strong returns for its shareholders.
Harrah’s earned a spot on BusinessWeek’s „Best Places to Launch a Career“ list for offering employees continuous career training, on-site fitness and health-care facilities, preventative and acute care, wellness education, employee assistance programs and dietary counseling.
It was ranked among Fortune’s „Most Admired Companies,“ an annual list that recognizes business organizations for innovation, people management, use of corporate assets, social responsibility, financial soundness, long-term investment and quality of management, products and services.
For the ninth consecutive year, IDG’s Computerworld named Harrah’s one of the „Best Places to Work for Information Technology,“ based on the responses of more than 27,000 IT professionals from around the world.
The firm also received a perfect score of 100 percent in the annual Corporate Equity Index rankings of Human Rights Campaign (HRC), one of the largest and most influential civil rights organizations in the United States. Harrah’s was honored for its equitable treatment of gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender employees, customers and investors, and is the first gaming company to receive a perfect score from HRC.
