London – The Bingo Association will be using an enhanced presence at ICE 2016 to provide a bingo breakout space and networking zone for its members to facilitate engagement with all bingo stakeholders on some of the key issues facing the sector in 2016, not least the introduction of the self exclusion scheme, an RGT industry survey and the introduction of the £1 coin and polymer notes. The partnership with ICE, the most international and comprehensive gaming event on the show calendar, will see the creation of a Bingo Breakout Space for use by the Association and members, situated in the South Hall (S7-340)of the ExCeL Centre, London.
Commenting on the partnership, Miles Baron, Chief Executive of The Bingo Association said: „Historically the bingo industry has not always fully utilised and engaged with sector shows and has perhaps missed some opportunities. Through our attendance of last year’s event we were able to appreciate the genuine value of presence at the show and engage more with all our audiences. ICE is without doubt the single most important meeting place for the international gaming industry in all its forms and I’m delighted to have been able to work with show organisers, Clarion, to provide a bingo breakout space and social zone for our members, the vast majority of whom regard ICE as a ‚must attend‘ event.
„Events such as ICE really come into their own when they are able to meet the needs of the industry sectors they represent and it is great to be able to build on our presence at ICE 2015. As well as hosting our current members I hope that we can engage with all licensed operators and demonstrate the difference and benefits that an effective trade association can deliver for an industry facing changes and challenges.“
Jo Mayer, Marketing Director responsible for ICE added: „Our invitation to the world industry for ICE 2016 is to ‚Enter The Gaming Technopolis‘ and I am delighted that the Bingo Association, which is amongst the most respected and effective trade bodies, has accepted that invitation. The Bingo Association is one of close to 30 trade bodies that we are working with and which will be present at the ICE Gaming Technopolis next February.“
