Las Vegas – Global Gaming Expo’s (G2E) popular Casino Design conference, the only conference dedicated to casino architecture, design and d’cor, will move to November to be held alongside G2E 2008. By joining with the gaming industry’s premier trade show and conference event, Casino Design will now be able to offer features such as the Casino Design pavilion on the G2E show floor and expanded networking opportunities. G2E 2008 is scheduled for Nov. 18-20, 2008, with the Casino Design conference taking place on Nov. 17, at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
Atlantic City, New Jersey – The newest addition to Atlantic City’s skyline will be a twin-tower mega-casino that appears as if it were sculpted by ocean waves. Revel Entertainment Group unveiled designs Wednesday for its USD 2 billion casino to be built on the Boardwalk next to the Showboat Hotel-Casino, and said the project will debut earlier than had been planned. Kevin DeSanctis, the company’s chairman and CEO, said the project would be called simply „Revel“ and would open in the second half of 2010.
