Der große Spieletrend der Messe waren Themengeräte. Man kaufe eine Lizenz, z.B. Superman, und mache daraus irgendein Spiel. Ich habe mit dieser Art Spiele ein paar Schwierigkeiten. Wenn man alle Videos gesehen hat, ist das Spiel meist langweilig. Die Spielelemente sind oft die gleichen, irgendwelche einfachen Auswahlspielchen.
Die G2E nennt sich größte Glücksspielmesse der Welt und findet mitten im Hotel Venetian statt. Dort gibt es einen eigenen Abschnitt für Messen, Sands Expo genannt. Ich kann aber nicht sagen, ob die Messe jedes Frühjahr in London nicht gleich groß ist. Für mich war es der Grund, dieses Jahr nach Las Vegas zu fliegen, und ich war zwei Tage auf dem Messegelände.
